Established in 1952, by my late father Sydney Shackley in a rented shop on derby street macclesfield. In january 1963 he moved to the current premesis we still occupy today. My mother Phyllis also worked in the shop alongside my father and myself untill the age of 81. I joined the family business in 1980 having completed the city and guilds motorcycle technitions course at stockport college and this will be my 35th year in the trade. The business all originates from Syd's love for motorcycles and especially trials riding, to which he passed on to myself and my sons.
